Will and I have passed by AOC multiple times, always mentioning how cute it looked at it’s new location, always noting that we should go here for brunch, but never following through. We dined at the old AOC location for my birthday years ago and thought the food was delicious. This new location is so charming! It has that rustic Spanish feel that makes for a really cute date location :)
We opted to sit outside for brunch as the weather was just lovely. We snagged last minute reservations at 10:45am to beat the Sunday Brunch rush. 15 minutes after this picture was taken, people were lined up at the door and it was packed.
Will loved how the coffee was served. He commented and said that I would pick up one of the sugar bowls if I spotted it at a flea market and I responded by saying that I would, if we had a house! Haha :) In due time…
This was by far the star of brunch! Will could not get enough of the crispy fried chicken. Whenever fried chicken & waffles are on a menu, I must (!!!) order it. (Same with clam chowder or Chinese Chicken Salad) The spanish seasoning made it unique to all the other fried chickens we’ve had. It is wrapped in prosciutto and sits on a bed of bacon! The corn bread waffles were the perfect addition. This is a MUST!I would definitely recommend AOC for a super cute brunch spot if you’re out with friends or for a date! It hit the three markers that make a good restaurant. Good atmosphere/decor, good food and good service! The servers were amazingly prompt about bringing out our orders as well as refreshing our water glasses or refilling my coffee. I was impressed!
